About OACM Staff
All OACM staff who provide care are supervised employees of Older Adults Care Management and include Certified Nursing Assistants, Certified Home Health Aides, Home Care Aides (both hourly and live-in) and Personal Care Assistants. All are carefully interviewed, screened, TB-tested, background-checked, and bonded.
Alzheimer's Association Training
OACM caregivers receive dementia care training from the Alzheimer's Association. This specialized training enables our caregivers to manage challenging behaviors and situations with expertise, understanding and compassion.
Advantages of Union Membership
All of our caregivers are members of Local 521 Service Employees International Union (SEIU). Union membership has advantages for our employees and for our clients. By union contract, our employees receive paid time off for vacation, illness, holidays, family emergencies and other excused absences. Eligible employees receive life insurance and may select group medical and dental insurance if they choose. Additionally, they have the opportunity to participate in our 403 B investment plan. These benefits are not routinely provided to home care employees.
Having happy, well-benefited caregivers ensures a more stable work-force that tend to stay with OACM and have a history with us. This enables us to make successful client-employee matches that maximize our caregivers’ strengths and best serve our clients.

OACM + IOA
OACM joined Institute on Aging's family of services in 1999. The partnership expanded IOA's services to include in-home care and medication management, and made IOA's extensive services for seniors accesible to OACM clients.
