After nearly a quarter-century of service to thousands of Bay Area residents and their families, Older Adults Care Management continues its legacy of quality, trust and value, remaining a pacesetter in the field of elder care.
OACM was founded in 1982 by Rose Kleiner, a pioneering social
worker and wife of famed Silicon Valley venture capitalist Eugene
Kleiner. In 1999 OACM partnered with Institute
on Aging. This partnership has allowed OACM to remain true
to its founding vision while expanding services to meet the needs
of seniors in Santa Clara, San Mateo, and San Francisco Counties.
Today, clients rely on our steady partnership for a broad range of vital services: experienced home care and dementia care; family consultation; coordination and monitoring of all services needed to remain living comfortably at home; bill paying and personal affairs support; escorted transportation; companionship in the home, the community, and at medical visits; and keeping families in-the-loop about the ongoing needs of their loved ones.
Other important services, such as counseling, bereavement support
and money management, are available directly through Institute
on Aging, the Bay Area's leading non-profit provider of elder
care services.
